Nestled in the pristine slopes of Mt. Kilimambogo, Machakos County, around 45 minutes drive from Thika Town; Ol Donyo Sabuk National  Park provides a magnificent getaway from the hassles of city and town life to a respite for singles, couples, families and groups searching for tranquility blanketed in a serene environment and also bordering exceptional sights including the all-famous Fourteen Falls.

Seated in an area  of approximately 20.7 KM2, there  is all you need  for that perfect break where  all you feel is a beautiful bliss and nothing  else matters. The impressive and extensive landmark offers a retouch with nature and boasts of being home  to a wide variety of wildlife mostly buffaloes and over 45 bird species. It also houses an untold rich history about its pre-colonial owner, Lord William Northrup  MacMillan graveyard.

Nights are exceptional at the campsite while hiking can be guided  by the terrific, knowledgeable and friendly service of the rangers. You can comfortably reach the top in around 3 hour’s time; for that breath-taking sight.

Affordability has never been  spelt out so nicely and with from as little as an entry fee of Kshs.350 for adults and Kshs. 250 for persons below 18 years, you get to enjoy value for your hard-earned cash. The guesthouse can also comfortably fit 10 pax with hospitality and beauty that unfetters your soul and is found within the park, a distance of only 1KM from the main gate  which is best suited for your convenience.

Other charges may include;

Camping- Kshs. 200 per person per night with provided  amenities for your convenience and guaranteed security.

Hiking- Kshs. 2,000 per guide

Guesthouse- Kshs. 2,000 per person per day or Kshs. 20,000 to have the whole house. The price is negotiable for kids below 13 years (and is subject to change).
